| Sponsors, donations sought for Twin Lakes Food Bank fundraiser The Twin Lakes Food Bank seeks sponsors and donations for its biggest fundraising event of the year.The Nov. 14 dinner and auction at the Oak Hills Church Auditorium, 1100 Blue Ravine Road, will feature silent and live auctions. The Food Bank seeks sponsors to help offset the cost of the event and donations of auction items. Dave Bender of KOVR Channel 13 news will be the celebrity auctioneer. The Folsom-based food bank served nearly 27,000 people in Folsom, Orangevale and El Dorado Hills last year. Approximately half were children. The organization also provided nearly 500 school children with new shoes and socks, and a backpack filled with school supplies, healthy foods and dental kits as part of its "Back to School" program.
