Live on the Boulevard/Folsom Symphony Sep 19, 2013

On September 19, 6:30 to 8 p.m., the symphony will perform the final “bonus” event for “Live on the Boulevard”, El Dorado Hills Town Center’s outdoor Thursday night concert series. It’s the perfect time for the whole family to enjoy the orchestra’s music. The repertoire features 10 lively pieces ranging from classical to contemporary, including Bizet’s “Carmen” Suite No. 1, Rossini’s “William Tell Overture,” Souza’s “Stars and Stripes Forever,” Bernstein’s “Magnificent Seven” and Williams “Star Wars” (“Darth Vader” and main theme) and more. The symphony’s music director, Maestro Michael Neumann, will conduct. The concert is outdoors, so bring chairs, food, drink, and plan to come early for a good spot.
