In 2010 over 10,000 people enjoyed an evening filled with great entertainment, food and a world-class fireworks show. New Library Use Exceeds Expectations
Visitation was up over 50 percent from the month of March 2006. During opening month, library patrons checked out more than 45,000 books, DVDs and audiovisual items. Staff issued 2,355 new library cards during the first month, an average of more than 65 each day the library was open. In comparison, staff issued 2,802 cards during the entire previous year.
