In 1993, the concept of Tahoe Joe’s was developed. The goal was to develop a log cabin style restaurant which took the time and trouble to use old fashioned cooking techniques such as wood fire grilling, smoking and slow roasting. From past experience, we knew that a fabulous menu could be developed around this style of cooking and the quality of food would surpass that of the competition while at the same time be reasonably priced.
